Self-Control

Read 2 Corinthians 7-9

2 Corinthians 8:15 "As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack."

We have to exercise self-control in every other aspect of our lives. For instance, we can’t act on our anger at another driver who cuts us off, we have to rein it in and let it go.

So it would seem like we should be able to do as we please when it comes to eating. At least one thing in our lives should be relaxed.

But self-control is even more important when it comes to diet and exercise. Self-control is the only thing that will keep us on our weight loss plan when we lose our other motivations and incentives.
