Easy Measure

Read Hebrews 7-9

Hebrews 8:1 "Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;"

Counting calories or fats or carbohydrates can drive us crazy—all those numbers day after day after day. And when we try to keep track of all three we may feel like we’re back in Mrs. Smith’s unholy calculus class all over again.

But Richard Simmons had a great idea when he came up with his deal a meal plan. We can do the same thing using whatever diet we are on.

Once we decide which foods we are going to eat for a meal and find out all the calories, fats, carbohydrates, or all of the above for each, we can write the numbers down on separate spreadsheet lines, 3 X 5 cards, or sticky notes. That way, not only can we easily keep track of what we are consuming, but the information is readily available for next time, and we’ll also know when we have reached our self-imposed limit for the day.
