Nehemiah 4:3 "Now
Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, Even that which they build, if a
fox go up, he shall even break down their stone wall."
Most of us lived through
some form of mocking when we were kids. Even if we weren’t teased about our
weight, we were teased about something.
Kids are supposed to grow
out of the urge to mock others. And we expect to grow out of the hurt that
mocking causes.
But whether it’s subtle or
open, mocking hurts at any age. We can take courage in knowing by losing weight,
we are giving mockers one less thing to tease us about.
