Eating to Sleep Well

Read Job 7-9

Job 7:4 "When I lie down, I say, When shall I arise, and the night be gone? and I am full of tossings to and fro unto the dawning of the day."

One of the advantages to dieting is that with the shift of foods we are eating, we may have cut out some of the foods that have been keeping us up at night. A better diet may mean we are no longer suffering from indigestion.

If we aren’t sleeping better, we can make more adjustments. Warm milk has long been considered a remedy to induce sleep, but most of us want to add chocolate to it.

Avoiding caffeine later in the day, avoiding spicy foods later in the day, and other eating adjustments will help with sleep. In fact, most of the food connected sleep advice holds true for dieters and non-dieters alike.
