1 Samuel 22:23 "Abide
thou with me, fear not: for he that seeketh my life seeketh thy life: but with
me thou shalt be in safeguard."
Some foods are like a
safeguard. We can eat as much of them as we want and not be in danger of
gaining weight.
Things like lettuce,
celery, and most vegetables can be eaten when we continue to be hungry after a
meal, or in-between meals. The trick is to resist dressing them up.
No cream cheese or peanut
butter in the celery, no rich dressing on the lettuce, no dips or sauces for the
other vegetables. Otherwise, we ruin their safeguard nature.
