Judges 7:8 "So the
people took victuals in their hand, and their trumpets: and he sent all the
rest of Israel every man unto his tent, and retained those three hundred men:
and the host of Midian was beneath him in the valley."
The Israeli warriors came
prepared. They brought their food with them.
We don’t know exactly what
we’re eating when we eat from vending machines or at restaurants. They’re
better at labeling than they used to be, but there is still room for doubt.
But when we bring food
from home for lunches or snacks, we have complete control over what we’ll be
eating. We’ll also know that what we need to eat at that time is going to be
available.
