Judges 20:26 "Then
all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up, and came unto the
house of God, and wept, and sat there before the Lord, and fasted that day
until even, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the
Lord."
We may have
responsibilities to others. We may have families to feed, or have made a
commitment to bring a dish to a party.
If we are on a very strict
diet, the foods we eat may not be suitable to serve others. Or those we are
feeding may have favorites from us they look forward to eating.
Even if we don’t feel like
eating or are putting a huge temptation in our own way, we will need to step up
and do what’s right and expected of us. Providing food for others is a privilege—that’s
what we have to keep in mind at times like that.
