Ignorance Might Not Be Bliss

Read Leviticus 4-6
Leviticus 4:23 "Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:"

It’s a relief to go to a potluck supper, or a party, or a celebration. The tables are loaded with food with no calorie, carbohydrate, or fat gram labels in sight.

We can enjoy ourselves. Eat what we want. Go back for seconds.

But we don’t need to lose control. We can eat what we want, but less than we want if we suspect the dish is high in those uncounted calories, carbohydrates, and fat grams. And those seconds? We can put them on our plate, cover them, and take them home to enjoy another day. We can maintain control of our eating and still live it up—within reason.
