Acts 16:34 "And when
he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced,
believing in God with all his house."
When someone we know is
hurting, there is usually very little we can do to make them feel better. We
can’t undo whatever happened or go back in time and prevent it from happening.
So we do what we can to
make their lives easier. Bringing food is often our go-to response.
If they have meals already prepared, at least they don’t have to cook. And if we have brought them food they may be more likely to eat, even if they don’t feel like it, if all they have to do is warm up something nutritious.
