Acts 4:35 "And laid
them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man
according as he had need."
We can usually tell if we
are hungry or not before we eat. But it isn’t always easy to tell when we have
eaten enough to stop being hungry.
If we are eating something
we love, it might not even occur to us that we are full. We are caught up in
the experience of eating something that tastes so good.
But one of the things that will help us lose weight is trying to stop eating after a reasonable amount of food has been eaten. Measuring and using smaller plates will help us not to take too much food and getting into the habit of waiting before taking seconds will also help make sure we are only filling a need.
