Shouting for Summer Fruits

Read Isaiah 16-18

Isaiah 16:9 "Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen."

Since frozen fruits are available year round, it’s easy to lose track of what fruits are in season when. Some fresh fruits seem to always be in season, like bananas.

Other fruits, like cantaloupe, seem to have a very limited season. The trick is to find out what times of the year are best for each fruit we enjoy.

Most fruits seem to be in season sometime during the summer. Some exceptions are apples that are in season in the fall and oranges that are in season during winter.
