Food Storage

Read Proverbs 13-15

Proverbs 13:23 "Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment."

My mother once accidentally put ice cream in the refrigerator instead of in the freezer. Needless to say, it didn’t work and the ice cream melted.

Most foods have obvious storage needs. Ice cream goes in the freezer, eggs in the refrigerator, uncooked rice in the cupboard.

Reading labels will help us sort out where a particular food should be stored and for how long. Sometimes though, we end up learning by trial and error.
