Mark 2:23 "And it
came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his
disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn."
All the hard work of
plowing, preparing, planting, weeding, watering, and watching over a garden is
rewarded at harvest time. Finally, we have fresh vegetables, maybe even fruits
from our own efforts, so we know what pesticides or fertilizers were used.
Harvesting can be tricky.
We have to know the perfect time to pick the produce.
Too late and we may lose
everything if it has already started to go bad. But too early and we may limit
our vegetables and fruits potential to continue to ripen.
