Repentance and Eating

Read Psalms 29-32

Psalms 30:5 "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

We can’t be perfect, no matter how hard we try. Sometimes, the harder we try, the more we mess up.

It’s especially worse when we hurt someone we love. We may not be able to make things right as soon as we might like, so we eat instead.

Eating our repentance doesn’t help fix things with our loved ones. Finding another way to deal with our emotions, like writing out our apology, has fewer calories and is more directly related to our pain.
