Feeding the Enemy

Read Psalms 41-44

Psalms 41:9 "Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me."

What happens when someone we trusted turns on us? Someone we thought was a friend, but we find out they stabbed us in the back?

They might have used a secret recipe we gave them and put it on Facebook. Maybe they put us down in front of other people.

We may be tempted to put arsenic in the next serving of dessert we give them at the potluck dinner, but we don’t. We can remain civil and courteous to them and channel our energies into increasing our exercise routines, burning off our anger and even more calories, bringing us even closer to our goals.
