Meditation

Read Psalms 1-4

Psalms 1:2 "But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night."

It’s easy to become obsessed with food when we’re concentrating on eating healthy. We could become obsessed either with finding the right things to eat or with missing the things we are restricting.

We want to get our minds off food. One way to do this is to meditate.

We can think about the scripture we have read for the day or on a familiar verse that encourages us. Or we can memorize a new verse and keep our minds meditating on that.
