Served

Read 1 Kings 16-18

1 Kings 17:6 "And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook."

We get used to approaching eating with caution. Especially in group situations, we can’t be too careful about what we’re about to eat, in terms of our diets.

It’s a welcome relief when we are invited to the type of gathering that serves our diet-consciousness. Sometimes we get to eat with others who are all watching their weights.

Then we can relax and eat whatever looks good to us. We can enjoy the great tasting food, not being afraid we will pay for our pleasure later.
