Hosea 7:7 "They are
all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen:
there is none among them that calleth unto me."
Turning on the oven and
letting its warmth permeate the house sounds good this time of year. As the
days grow cooler our thoughts turn to baking.
Not all ovens are the
same, however. Even though we expect the same temperature to bake in the same
way, experience shows that it doesn’t.
Before we bake something
to present to others, we will want to test our oven’s baking progression. We
may need to adjust the baking times or temperatures to get the results we want
from our particular oven.
