Ezekiel 4:16
"Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of
bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they
shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:"
If we are eating the right
foods but still not losing weight, we may not be eating the right portion
size. If we eat too much, even of an approved food, our calculations may be
off.
One way to check if that’s
the case is to simply eat less. Cut our usual portion in half, or at least take
a smaller piece.
But if we are serious
about correct portions and need to be more accurate, we can measure and weigh
our food before we eat it. Weighing it before we cook it may not give the
accuracy we are looking for.
