Hungry or Thirsty?

Read Isaiah 49-51

Isaiah 49:10 "They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them."

We need a certain number of calories each day to fuel our bodies for the tasks ahead of us. We also need a certain amount of water to keep us going.

There is more agreement about how many calories we need than there is about how much water we need and whether or not it actually has to be water. Do some of the fluids we drink add to our liquid requirements or do they sap fluid from our bodies?

So there are times we feel like we are hungry when we are actually thirsty. Before we grab something to eat, we may want to drink some water to make sure we’re hungry, not thirsty.
