Anger

Read Deuteronomy 4-6

Deuteronomy 4:21 "Furthermore the Lord was angry with me for your sakes, and sware that I should not go over Jordan, and that I should not go in unto that good land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance:"

How do we handle anger? Exploding in words or actions are generally considered uncivilized and can hurt other people.

So many of us turn to food. It doesn’t make rational sense, but anger isn’t a rational emotion.

We may eat to calm ourselves down or eat to give our hands and mouths something to do, but we have to stop anger eating. There are other things we can do, like go for a walk, tackle a tough cleaning project, even take five minutes by ourselves to take a deep breath. We don’t have to turn to food to comfort ourselves, but we’ll have to consciously change our go-to response.
